Education is at the heart of the Academy's mission, and our programs reflect the diverse interests of the community that we serve. While school programs are currently our most extensive effort, we also offer public tours, scout programs, teacher workshops, summer eco-camps, and various other events through the year.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Specialized training is available for those individuals who love the great outdoors and enjoy sharing it with others. Many different types of volunteer opportunities are available including: leading Swamp Saturday hikes, assisting with school field trips, providing outreach to the community, etc. Click here for more information.
