OTHER ACTIVITIES

Throughout the year, the Academy offers many special events for children. Girl and Boy Scouts, as well as other kids' groups, can arrange Nature Park tours on select Saturdays during the school year, and on weekdays during the summers. Once a year there is a Kids Swamp Stomp with nature hiking and crafts, and each Fall we hold a special Halloween activity. Each summer, the Academy holds summer Eco-Camps for kids of various ages. During warm weather, we also offer Storytime at the Swamp every other week for younger children. Children's groups can also volunteer to clean up the Nature Park's trails for a year through the Adopt-a-Trail program.
