Booking Procedures
Reservations are made on a first come, first served basis by calling the Academy offices at (706)
796-7707. Most field trips dates for the school year are booked by late fall so be sure to reserve a date early. When you call to reserve a date, please have the following information ready:
When you arrive at the park please be prepared to deliver all signed liability forms and payment to Academy staff. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to scheduled field trip time. Please note that field trips are based on a strict time schedule and late arrivals may result in an abbreviated program format.
Confirmation and Cancellation Policy
A Confirmation letter must be signed by both the principal and booking
teacher agreeing to the cancellation policy and faxed to 706-796-7717 within
two weeks of booking.
All field trip programs take place rain or shine.
An
alternative curriculum may be planned in the event of inclement weather.
Cancellations due to
severe weather (snow and ice)
or road conditions may be
rescheduled.
Field trips
may be rescheduled or canceled up to
Four Weeks
before your
originally scheduled date.
A payment of 50% of the program fee may be charged for cancellations with
less than four week
notification.
A minimum deposit of $50.00
per field trip is required in order to secure a field trip date. A
two week grace period exists to receive the deposit after calling the office to
schedule a field trip. If a deposit is not received within
those two weeks, the field trip date is no longer secured.
Field trips must be rescheduled or canceled at least
four weeks
prior to your
scheduled date in order to have your
deposit returned.
