Booking Procedures
Reservations are made on a first come, first served basis by calling the Academy offices at (706) 828-2109. Most field trips dates for the school year are booked by late fall so be sure to reserve a date early. When you call to reserve a date, please have the following information ready:
When you arrive at the park please be prepared to deliver all signed liability forms and payment to Academy staff. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to scheduled field trip time. Please note that field trips are based on a strict time schedule and late arrivals may result in an abbreviated program format.
Cancellation Policy
All field trip programs take place rain or shine. If your field trip is conducted indoors due to inclement weather, alternative curricula may be planned. Cancellations due to severe weather or road conditions are your decision.
Field trips may be rescheduled or canceled up to four weeks before your originally scheduled date.
A minimum booking fee of $40.00 per field trip will be charged if the cancellation policy is not followed (unless due to severe weather or school closings).
